There are two basic reasons that people decide to organize; 1) building a new home or office, or 2) being fed up with a mess. Regardless of the reason, once the commitment to organizing has been made the next step is deciding if you want to tackle the issue yourself or contact a professional. True professionals have a gift for organizing, which means they visualize and define the most functional and user-friendly ways to accomplish your organizing objective. They listen to your issues and ideas and then offer value-added suggestions that fit your organizing needs and your budget.
When choosing a professional it’s important to know who can provide the best creative options to accomplish your objectives. Believe it or not; all organizing professionals are not the same. It&rsqRead More

I live in a state of self-induced insanity. Along with being an interior designer, I bake cookies and teach yoga . I run, bike, volunteer, and work hard at what I call my semblance of a makeshift social life. I am home very little, and when I am, my time is spent implementing design ideas in my own house and yard. I don’t sleep much. I thrive on activity and the implementation of ideas. The result of all this? A constant battle to maintain a means of organization, the ramification of which is stress.

Hartung Homes has built a house of style and activity just outside Crooks, South Dakota. With over 4,414 square feet, five bedrooms, three full and two half bathrooms, this sprawling ranch combines defining elements of both modern and rustic into one chic home design.
High beige peaks of shake siding and stone accents welcome guests to a covered stone-columned concrete patio. Warmth of light and color continues into the home as large windows in the entry and living space flood the open area built for entertaining and family enjoyment. The living space looks out to the backyard and a stone covered patio. Impressive beamed, coffered ceilings and inlaid carpet define the space from the open gourmet kitchen.

Home remodeling for the long term can be challenging, as newer designs may clash with the existing style of the home. The key to a successful remodel is to choose elements that will create a cohesive design throughout, yet remain fashionable and functional well into the future.

Located in the Copper Creek Development, brown and rust stone accents, beige lap siding and chocolate board and batten peaks create quick interest from the street while the covered concrete porch with a large window looking into the living room, supported by a tapered stone column adds appeal. The oversized three stall garage has style with separate impression doors, boxed windows and lantern lighting. But what stands out the most is the craftsman door with stained glass window detail.
