What attracted you to your specific industry?
I started working at Schoeneman's in 1991 and worked outside as a truck driver delivering product to contractors. I didn't know a lot about the building industry even though my father had been in the building industry his entire adult life. Working outside gave me an introduction into the building industry and introduced me to builders and wholesalers that we purchased products from. After working outside for a year, I had the opportunity to move inside at the sales counter. I worked the sales counter and learned how to estimate small projects like garages, and decks. I attended some training sessions that Andersen Windows provided, and took an interest in the sales of windows and doors.
